I'm pretty sure most of you have heard of it. There is a new type of hack where the hacker doesn't need your Facebook account. There's not much information about this as there isn't an official statement from the ninjas. Some people think the hackers use some type of scan. Some other people have said that you'll be safe if you change your privacy settings in your Yoville.com profile so nobody can see your items. Some other people have decided to stay away from events until this whole thing is over.

I actually don't know what to do as there is no word from the ninjas yet.

The hackers DON'T need your facebook info to do this. It's a type of scan they do to your yoville.com profile to get your items and coins. To change your settings.
1. Go to your yoville.com/home
2. Then under your avatar name it says "Privacy Settings"
3. Click that and change your settings to where nobody can see your stuff.

Thanks for the information Agent Franko Also, someone said the YoVille.com site gets updated every two weeks. As these updates go thru, your privacy settings reset to 'DEFAULT'. So make sure you set up some type of reminder to consistently go back to the site and update your settings.

Every Since I've Heard That i told everyone to lock there inventory's

they should at least be on yoville so they cannt get hacked [code]

i got scanned out of few items :/ i was at a maxing event and this weird looking guy(nothing on his head no mouth no eyes no nose no hair) kept going in and out in and out then i froze and when i refreshed i lost a few rare items
I didn't know yoville resets the settings back to default every two weeks

Thanks for telling us! When my friend was hacked I was really scared to go to any events or public places.
