I never played but why is it so popular? Can you chat with live players?

CityVille by Zynga is a social game quite similar to YoVille without being able to trade or socialize with others however CityVille have revealed that they are trying to connect players with other players in the future so this could be another YoVille in one way. Its basically like the Sims but you create a city not a home. The population at CityVille hit 100million then slowly decreased but now at the 90million mark its a bit more steady there. The game shot off quick as a lot of people love newly created games to beat others so fast!

Tell me about it

You get a town name it. You can buy houses land features, building, etc. You make money from the houses and businesses and helping other friends town. Its kinda like yoville with decorating and like farmville with the making money kinda. i played it a while but you have to get energy like frontierville, and I always ran out of it so there was nothing to do for a couple hours until you get more energy.
