Why not
Do you consider yourself to be internet or gaming addicted?
Yes I do
How many hours are you online? What do you do for those hours?
Lots of hours and what I do depend on what Im about to for school and the like. I might do research on a subject, I might be drawing, watching tv-series, movies (I do got a computer hooked to my tv but its more comfortable to view especially tv-series on the computers because I like to do more then one thing at once and my computer isnt in my living room, so), play games ("real" ones, not just Yoville), hang around on facebook, read newspapers or books/amateur fiction. Years ago I actually printed out things like The Prince and the Pauper, and there was this girl called Adele Sessler, I think, that wrote some series about some Avenan wars? Well, hundreds of papers later and lots less ink, I figured it was cheaper to just read things right off the screen. Not as comfortable but what do you do?
How many games do you play?
On facebook, the only game I currently play is Yoville. Other then that, and currently? Only 1.
Do you think you could be offline a full 24 hours?
Actually, yes I do.
What is it that keeps you online so much?
Lazyness. A lot of times I cant be arsed to actually go and do something productive.
How many hours do you sleep a night? How many hours did you sleep before you started being online so much? Is it the same?
I try to sleep for at least 8 hours/night, sometimes it goes down to 7 but not too often. I like sleeping.
Does your real life suffer due to your online activity? If so how?
Well, sometimes I guess. For example, a friend of mine asked if I wanted to come over for dinner a while ago and I had hooked up with some people online (MMO) and we were planning to do something so I declined. Which I halfly regret. But normally Im not too much of a social person anyways, I love my friends but I can be awkard in situations where there's nothing to do (if Im around people I feel like I need to occupy my hands so not doing anything gets wierd) and its ok. I think. I dont think they think Im pushing them away at least. Well, some do because I never show up at the pub evenings but thats because Im not really a drinker and that enviroment has never really suited me too much (plus, it drains too much money from me). My anti social behaviour is most likely because of the computer, yes. And Ive probably missed out on a lot of wonderful things but thats only something I can speculate about
Do you ever wish you could stay offline?
Forever? No. But I should try and become more social. Somehow. Fat luck with that.
