| Hello all. I'm here to give you some tips on what kind of scams are out there. And how YOU can avoid them. Let's start with the most common and obvious. 1. I can double your money. Of coarse the chances of somebody kind enough to double your coins are very rare. Watch out for people who claim they can and if somebody does say they can to you then report them for soliciting cash/coins. Even with close friend you might want to be careful. 2. Yocash codes for sale!!! Needless to say some people do actually sell yocash codes but an estimated 95% are just scammers. Be aware of people claiming they sell codes that give you yocash and only trust people you know. Believe me on this one, I've had friends who got scammed like this. And as always report these scammers for soliciting cash/coins. 3. Nakey lamps fs!!! This is indeed a funny and yet hairbrained scam. The quote "nakey" lamps are just glitches lamps with several stacked on oneanother. a glitch happens where your clothes disappear when near it. They will trick you and tell you they sold this lamp when really, you need many of them. Watch out. Because this scam can sometimes be tricky to be aware of. Report for soliciting cash/coins. 4. Gameshow/ pageant/ elimination game/ etc. Most of the time these are not scams. But sometimes they can be. Even if it's free to enter. Sometimes the owner will trick you into paying to enter or reenter in the game. Thus meaning gifting or paying. I've seen this happen so be careful. Although this is a scam that is mostly not. One in every certain number of times it is. So always make sure of the owner and event type. If you assume it's a scam. Leave. Report for soliciting cash/coins. 5. Adoption center Yes the yobabies. Most of the time they can be just normal people who want your money. They may stay a little while and then ask you to spoil them. If all they ask for is stuff and money. Just leave them in the adoption center. But sometimes it's the yobaby who gets their con. The so called "trust test" is when the yobaby gives the parent stuff or money to see if they can trust the baby. Of coarse most of the time the adult presumes the yobaby is a scammer and will try to scam them so both adopters and yobabies should be careful about eachother. Report for soliciting cash/coins. 6. G4G The classic gift for gift events. The main key to the gfg is someone gifts you then you gift back. Half the time people gift back but sometimes they just take your gift and poof. Be careful with who you gfg with and insist on trading and not gifting. People who don't want to trade are most likely trying to scam you. Report for soliciting cash/coins. 7. VIP pass for sale. This is a rarely old scam where the person says they have VIP passes or jackets. They will claim to be VIPs and allowed in the VIP section in some shops. They will also say they have items which give you VIP Access. This is a scam 100% of the time. Trust NO ONE. Zynga has not made any VIP passes nor do they have plans in the future. So if people claim they have VIP passes. You already know they are lying. Report for soliciting cash/coins. 8. I'll rent/borrow this. This is a scam 95% of the time. Never let your items fall in hand of strangers. Most of the time they will just take your item and... You guessed it. POOF. Only do this with close friends and still be careful with who the person is and what you let the person borrow. Even if they do rent and are honest be careful for them keeping their promise. But my best advise is to not trust strangers at all. Report for soliciting cash/coins. 9. New items look like rares. There have been many items in the past which matched older released items or any yocash or more expensive. Always pay attention to how the item your buying looks and make sure the name matches the correct item. If your not sure about an item your not pressured. Feel free to cancel if you want. Just don't agrivate the seller. If the items match correctly and everything seems right the trade is probably secure, but if you see the seller put a look a like but not the correct item. They are probably scamming. Report for soliciting cash/coins. 10. I got scammed please help! Most of the time the person is not lying but sometimes... They are not being honest. I've had a friend who was really scammed so I helped him. Then come the people who see generosity as their own hairbrained scam. Be careful with who you help out. And always inform them about support. Stranger or friend. I would not recommend reporting for this one because your just never sure. Got any more scams? Post em'.
