Some Known Scams:
This is a list of some known scams. I don't want anybody to get scammed.
_____________________________________________________________
Magic Flying CarpetWhen you are trying to buy the Magic Flying Carpet in a trade, people usually put in other carpets.
^^ Magic Flying Carpet ^^ ^^ Red Throw Rug Moroccan ^^
St. Patricks Day Green Handheld DrinkSometimes people might try to trick you thinking that you have the 09 Green Drink instead of the 2010.
^^ 09 ^^ ^^ 10 ^^
Pink Retro ScamIn a trade, the seller will put in a pair of sunglasses. They might say Pink Retro Specks, but they are NOT Pink Retro Specks. They are actually a pair of female sunglasses that are in stores and cost 50 coins. Make sure if you are buying it, they look like the Pink Retro Specks.
^^ Real Pink Retros ^^
'Best Gift Gets' ScamThere might be some events that might be called 'Best Gift gets Dog' or Best Gift gets 10k' or something similar to that. This is most likely a scam, although, very few people tell the truth.
Buying Whiteboard ArtWhen you are buying whiteboard art, the seller might tell you to go to another room while he/she might actually be erasing the art. Make sure that you stay in the exact same room, and do NOT look away from the computer screen to make sure the seller doesn't erase the art.
The Naked Lamp ScamYou might or might not have seen a lamp, that when you go next to it, your avatar is naked. If someone tries to sell you it, do NOT buy it. It is a scam. This is actually about 20-25 lamps stores on top of of one another. He or she might just give you 1.Therefore, if you want it, you can buy the lamps at the furniture store for much less coins, instead of paying more in a trade.
The Yoville Game Card ScamNEVER trust anybody who says, "If you give me this, I will give you the Pin Code for 50 Yocash" It is most likely a scam. And, it is also against the TOS to do that. Zynga does sell the Game Cards, but don't give people coins for the code. And if they do give you a code after you pay them, it is probably fake.
White Board ScamIf someone is selling you a whiteboard via Trade, make sure it says Whiteboard. Some people put White Borders. So, make sure it says Whiteboard.
